Akshay Kumar plays a real life bodyguard to Katrina Kaif during the promotional event of ‘Tees Maar Khan’. To promote their latest flick, Katrina Kaif and Akshay Kumar reach out to the large crowd. On looking at Kat and Akki, the crowd went berserk. To save the actress from the crowd, Akshay escorted Kat to the exit, rounded her with his hand. Kat is overwhelmed with Akki’s protective nature.

The stars threw CD’s of ‘Tees Maar Khan’ to the fans and interacted with them. The director of the film Farah Khan also accompanied them. Akshay waved to the crowd and the response was awesome.

According to latest buzz Sara and Ali Merchant are not living together in their Lokhandwala home in Mumbai. As per reports, the Bidaai actress had monetary issues with husband Ali.

But, both the parties have different stories. Reports suggest that Sara’s spokesperson has confirmed the news whereas Ali maintains that they are not living together right now as Sara’s parents haven’t accepted their marriage.

Mohammed Morani and his wife, Lucky Morani, had a scuffle on Thursday night at an event at a suburban five-star hotel. Mohammed Morani left the venue in a huff after the fight. Lucky Morani threw a glass, smashing it to shards.

A source said, “It was an event coordinated by the Morani Brothers themselves. The couple is always cool. However that day it was not. After they arrived together for the launch of a health drink, Mohammed Morani went backstage to look into the preparations.

After some time Lucky Morani followed. However what happened between the two is not known. They were seen fighting and shouting at each other. Lucky Morani got so angry that she threw a glass with disgust and hurled abuses. Mohammed, on the other hand, left the venue as he didn’t want the fight to aggravate.”

However, when contacted, Mohammed Morani denied the news.

Salman Khan slapped a man who kissed him on Thursday night, outside Anil Kapoor’s Juhu residence.

An eyewitness said, “The incident happened moments after Salman arrived at Anil Kapoor’s birthday bash. Just a few moments before this, Anil had escorted Salman’s father, Salim Khan, into the party. Salman was alighting from his car when all of a sudden a man, who appeared to be in his mid-20s and called himself Ajay, rushed towards him, hugged him and then kissed him. It seems Salman was in very high spirits. Without batting an eyelid, Salman slapped Ajay.”

Ajay, who had least expected this, apparently went flying to one corner. What followed this was even more shocking.

Zoom TV had managed to take grabs of Salman’s misdemeanor. When the actor turned around and saw this, he got upset. Immediately, two of Salman’s security guards came up and asked that this footage be deleted. Said the eyewitness, “Woh dadagiri karne lage. ‘Chal delete kar, chal jaldi delete kar,’ they said.”

Attempts were made to salvage the footage, but the bouncers were adamant. At this point, Salman too stepped in to request that the footage be erased.

At this point, Anil came rushing out. “Anil and Salim were wondering why Salman was taking so long to come, as they had already spotted Sallu’s car being parked outside the bungalow. Sensing the commotion, Anil went up to Salman Khan; he made a similar request regarding the footage,” revealed the witness.

Defending Salman, another witness said, “The guy who hugged and kissed Salman was very aggressive. This is not the way to greet a star. You can’t get so close to them and make them this uncomfortable. Anybody else in Salman’s position would have done the same thing.”

Moments after the footage was deleted, the stars went into the house. The party, which saw bigwigs like Karan Johar, Boney Kapoor and Rani Mukerji, to name a few, continued till the small hours.

The advance booking counters of Tees Maar Khan opened on Wednesday morning at most places. Single screens normally start advance on Monday but here even the advance at most single screens was held back till Wednesday and the results were fantastic all over.

The largest multiplex chain in India PVR sold a record 10,000 plus tickets in one day.

Delite Delhi had an advance of 6.50 lakhs nett which is already 38% of the Dabangg whole week collection of nearly 17 lakhs.

Mona Patna saw a mad rush as 3500 were tickets sold while it was similar at Paradise Kolkata where 2800 tickets were sold. Both are amongst biggest single screens in India.

The advance is huge which means humungous weekend business but for records to go it is always current rather than advance which proves to be the most important factor especially in the time of multiple shows and huge release.

The couple even replied to queries regarding past relationships. Bhupathi was claimed to be the reason behind the actress dumping Dino Morea while some reports even said Lara was responsible for the divorce of Mahesh and model Shwetha Jaishankar.
“They spoke candidly about their respective exes and cleared the air on how those relationships were over before theirs started,” reveals our source.

Salman Khan is interested in working with Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone debuted with SRK starrer ‘Om Shanti Om’ which was in a sort of proxy war with Salman Khan’s ‘Saawariya’ at the time of its release. As such, there was not much interaction between Sallu Bhai and Deepika. However, time and again, it was said that both the actors had expressed their desire to work with each other. Deepika had once said to BT, “Salman is one actor I’m looking forward to doing a film with.” Now that gossip columns are going red with the rumors of Ranbir Kapoor seeing Salman’s girl Katrina Kaif, Salman seems to be more eager than ever to work with Ranbir’s ex-flame Deepika Padukone. Bhoot And Friends' postponed to 31st December 2010

Directed by Kittu Saluja and produced under the banner of Wide Angle Media Pvt Ltd, the Hindi feature childrens film Bhoot And Friends is the story of an 11-year-old boy and his little friends who are enjoying their summer vacations. However, all goes haywire when they accidentally get involved in hunting for a lost treasure which is also sought and hunted for by a notorious villain. The kids meet a ghost with magical powers. And thus begins a roller coaster adventures journey that has exciting on the run chase, loads of action and on the edge thrill. The mystery of the lost treasure has to be resolved to save everyone's lives. Will the Ghost help these four kids?

Playing the Ghost is esteemed actor Jackie Shroff. Also in the starcast are Ashwin Mushran as main villain and Aditya Lakhia along with Child artistes Maarkand Soni, Ishita Panchal, Akash Nair and Tejas Rahate.

Speaking of Tejas, seems he is a very brave young man! The young boy had fractured his hand but since it was the last day of shooting he did not let anyone know on the film or set know. Nor did he let the doctor put on the plaster cast that day. He shot for three hours and only at the end of that did he tell them what had happened. Star Jackie Shroff told him, "Bedu, you are the action hero of Bollywood. Keep it up."

Originally the film was to release on Christmas Eve, but with all the films (Tees Maar Khan, Toonpur Ka Superrhero and Isi Life Mein) releasing on the 24th Bhoot and Friends has now been moved to New Year's Eve. Producer Aneesh Arjun Dev explained, "I don't want to get lost in the crowd on 24th. It makes better business sense to postpone the film. Bhoot And Friends is a good film, one, kids and parents will enjoy. It's based on bedtime stories that we tell our children and is shot with real time characters, animation and special effects. And Jackie is a hot favorite amongst children."

Big B refuses to work with Mallika Sherawat

Amitabh Bachchan has refused to share screen space with the sexy lady, Mallika Sherawat.

Director Kushan Nandy has approached Big B to work in a film with the Murder actress but he said no. Big B is not keen to work with the actress who is well-known for her sexy image rather than her films.

James Cameron Gets High On Bihar Talent

December 14, 2010: James Cameron, the Avatar director, was in Maharashtra recently. And it was a surprising knowledge of sorts for him when he learnt about some exceptional stories on students from Bihar. Anand Kumar, a teacher at a coaching centre he opened in Bihar, was the centre of attention for James and many others, as he narrated real life stories of poor but talented students from the state.
Anand has opened a institute for taking in IIT aspirants under his wing and then training them free of cost to help them crack IIT exams. It is obvious that the students who come to him are meritorious, but cannot afford high-cost coaching centres. And this makes his battle tougher. Anand has himself had to give up studying at Cambridge University, as he could not afford it when he had passed the admission criteria for the renowned university.
Cameron was so impressed by his stories that he had a word with Anand post the conference where they had met – Innovation and Knowledge Conference in Lavasa – that he told Anand he will speak about this success platform to people around the world.

Zandu Balm Unites Jr NTR And Suriya With Munni

December 14, 2010: Zandu balm has done the magic, which many big filmmakers could not do! It has brought together Tamil superstar Suriya and Telugu star Junior NTR on the same screen along with Bollywood item girl Malaika Arora Khan.
However, these stars will not be seen in any film but for a commercial of Zandu balm. NTR was recently signed by the company to endorse their product and soon after Suriya was signed as the brand ambassador for Tamil Nadu.
Now, the latest news suggests that ‘Ad guru’ Prahlad Kakkar has started filming a commercial for Zandu Balm in Mumbai and it will show the South Indian stars NTR and Suriya romancing the sexy Malaika of ‘Munni Badnam’ fame. In fact, the song ‘Munni Badnam’ has a clear reference of the brand ‘Zandu Balm’ so is it being filmed on that song only?
Well, we have no clue about this but it is being shot by Senthil of Magadheera fame and is believed to be going a sizzling one. Malaika is endorsing the brand in North India as the brand ambassador. The new advertisement with Malaika, NTR and Suriya, is targeted for the regional consumers and it is likely to be aired from the December last week.

Salman in Farah Khan's next?

According to fresh reports, Farah is thinking of making a full fledged film with Salman Khan in the coming time. The chemistry between Salman and Farah is growing stronger by the day. After Salman made himself available for a special appearance in TMK, the idea of doing a film with him is riding high on Farah's mind.

Ask the filmmaker about his desire to work with Salman Khan, she says, "Well, this has been in the pipe line for long but now I feel the time has come where I need to do something seriously about it. And imagine the outcome of two mad people getting together. I think I'm mad and Salman is madder. After I finish with TMK, I am considering working on our plans to doing a film together."

Salman on his part is also eager to work with Farah given the fact that she has distanced herself from his arch rival SRK. With Sallu and Farah cooking up a new plot, let's hope it comes with an interesting twist.

Except her debut film, ‘Boom’, Katrina Kaif has never shed her inhibitions. She has maintained her dignity and always seen in decent attire in films. She has done a rauncy number in her latest film, ‘Tees Maar Khan’ but with decency. Her bold act in ‘Boom’ with Gulshan Grover is still a hit on the net.

Except this film, she has neither flaunted her sexy side nor has she gone any major kissing scene. Kat has decided not to do any cozy scene in her films. In the past, she has raised objection against doing steamy scene.

Salman, Katrina patch up

The hottest couple of the tinselville who are no longer a pair now are coming together to entertain their audience.

They buried their old hatchet and coming together to entertain their audience and the Bigg Boss housemates. In order to promote their latest flick, ‘Tees Maar Khan’, Katrina Kaif and Farah Khan will enter the Bigg Boss house and as expected lots of fun will be there.

It would be a surprise for the housemates. They have no idea that two big celebrities are coming to their house. For a task, Bigg Boss has made two teams, one team comprises Shweta Twari and Dolly Bindra and the other team has members, Veena Malik and Seema Parihar. Shweta’s team will shake their legs to ‘Munni Badnam Hui’ and Veena will shake leg to the song, ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’.
The performance of the two teams will be judged by the two special celebrity guests and winners will be declared. Obviously, when two great dancers will be present, their movement will be corrected by them. Both Farah and Kat are also expected to do some latkas and jhatkas.

Akshay demands 27 crore to play Dawood

Akshay Kumar has demand a whopping amount of Rs 27 crore to play the role of underworld goon Dawood Ibrahim in the sequel to ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai’. Balaji is keen to make a sequel to the film and Ekta Kapoor has approached Akshay Kumar to play the lead role but hearing his demand, she was stunned.
Confirming the news a source said, “Ekta wants to take the sequel of Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai to the next level. She felt that Akshay would be ideal for playing Dawood Ibrahim’s role. She likes the way Akshay acts and feels that he has a lot of potential for playing challenging roles.” He has been asked to step into Emraan Hashmi’s role.
Akki was reasoned that if he was paid so huge amount, it would be impossible for them to generate profit. Hence, Balaji has asked Akshay to lesser down the amount. The actor is in huge demand now and considering his star value, he is not likely to lesser his price.
