Akshay protects Katrina from the crowd

Akshay Kumar plays a real life bodyguard to Katrina Kaif during the promotional event of ‘Tees Maar Khan’. To promote their latest flick, Katrina Kaif and Akshay Kumar reach out to the large crowd. On looking at Kat and Akki, the crowd went berserk. To save the actress from the crowd, Akshay escorted Kat to the exit, rounded her with his hand. Kat is overwhelmed with Akki’s protective nature.

The stars threw CD’s of ‘Tees Maar Khan’ to the fans and interacted with them. The director of the film Farah Khan also accompanied them. Akshay waved to the crowd and the response was awesome.

Katrina Kaif part ways with Ranbir Kapoor due to the growing proximity between Ranbir Kapoor and his co-star, Nargis Fakhri. These days Ranbir is taking too much interest on Nargis and almost ignoring Katrina. Finally, Kat has decided to call off their relationship which started on the set of ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahini’.

Ranbir Kapoor was heard telling his friends that he likes Nargis and wants to give another chance to their relationship.

A source reveals, "Kat feels that Ranbir isn't coming clean about his relation with Nargis. While he maintains they are working co-stars, she can sense there's more.

The growing tension between the two got public when the Kapoor lad was heard screaming into the phone on the Rockstar set with Kat at the other end of the line.

Ranbir even lied Kat for Nargis. When Kat called him up, he said that he was busy on an ad shoot but in actuality he was spending time with his ‘Rockstar’ actress.

The story doesn’t stop here, Ranbir is also recommending Nargis to some producers.

A source said, “One may recall that Amitabh had lent his voice earlier to ‘Lagaan’. Couple of days ago, Aamir and Kiran were seen visiting Amitabh. They were in a two hour meet and two days ago, Amitabh dubbed in a suburban studio for ‘Delhi Belly’. What is truly interesting about this development is that Aamir has written this piece that Amitabh dubbed for.”

‘Delhi Belly’ will again bring mama and bhanja together after the blockbuster, ‘Jaane Tu Yaa Jaane Na’. The trailer of much expected ‘Delly Belly’ will break with ‘Dhobi Ghat’ on January 21.

Priyanka Chopra is off to Goa with father, mother, brother and friend Tamanna. She has decided to spend the New year with family instead of Shahid. She has rubbished the rumor of celebrating New Year with Shahid in Chandigarh where is shooting for his father’s film, ‘Mausam’.

Priyanka says, "Despite our busy schedules, we just about managed to get a few days off and decided to make it a Goan New Year.”

His family is already in Dubai and he has left yesterday to join them. He will be rocking this New Year with best buddies Karan Johar and Hrithik Roshan. Hrithik is also in Dubai with his wife and children.

Asin laughs it off, "You know, I'm quite enjoying the joke about my wedding. I've been in my bridal outfit taking the saat pheras, for a week now. I almost feel I'm really married. The family opposition that is being talked about is also part of the script."

Shahrukh Khan who watches shows like ‘Desperate Housewives’ and ‘Dexter’ with wife Gauri says that he enjoyed all the three seasons of ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ but he is not keen watching ‘Bigg Boss’. He does not like the show. It may be noted that Bigg Boss is hosted by his rival Salman Khan.

When quizzed about whether he has watched the show, he is quick to reply, "I've caught bits of it when they are aired on news channels, but I haven't really watched an entire episode.

I don't like voyeuristically looking at other people's lives. I think my life is much more interesting."
